I can think back and remember several clear and defined moments where Boys & Girls Clubs have significantly impacted the lives of our Club members. I cherish these moments of perspective because growth can be difficult to see during the day-to-day, week-after-week cadence of running an organization. Last week at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida’s Youth of The Year ceremony, the growth was again clear for everyone to see.
I was filled with a sense of satisfaction and purpose as I watched 20 Junior and Youth of The Year candidates, exceptional leaders in their Clubs and communities, recognized in front of their families, Boys & Girls Club staff and board members.
