Executive Vice President of Ready Mix
Jim Munro, Executive Vice President of Ready Mix at Maschmeyer, Inc., originally from Maryland, holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Loyola College. His career journey commenced as a Sales Representative for Blue Circle Cement in 1996.
Transitioning to the ready-mix concrete industry in 2002, he assumed the role of GM for Rockville Fuel & Feed Company. Prior to his tenure at Maschmeyer Concrete in 2018, Jim led as the President of VCNA’s North American Ready-Mix Division, overseeing over six million yards of concrete and gunite. At Maschmeyer Concrete, his roles have included VP/GM for the SE Region, VP/GM for the Central Region, and EVP of the Ready-Mix Division. He actively promotes the ready-mix concrete industry, serving as President of the ACI/NCC and on the boards of MRMCA, FC&PA, and NRMCA.
