Matt Schubert

Vice President/General Manager, Metro Atlanta Region

A Jacksonville native, Matt Schubert was introduced to the ready-mix concrete industry at an early age, often accompanying his father to concrete plants on weekends. That early exposure sparked a lasting connection to the industry and helped shape his career in ready-mix operations and management.

Matt graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.S. in Mass Communications. As a second-generation ready-mix manager with nine years of industry experience, he joined Maschmeyer Concrete in 2024 as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Tampa Bay region.

Following his success in Tampa Bay, Matt was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Maschmeyer’s Metro Atlanta region, where he is helping lead the company’s expansion into the Atlanta market. In this role, he oversees regional operations and works to establish and grow Maschmeyer’s presence in the market while maintaining the company’s commitment to quality, service, and strong customer relationships.

Matt remains actively involved in the Florida Concrete & Products Association (FC&PA), contributing to the organization’s regional efforts and industry initiatives. Prior to joining Maschmeyer, he served as the Region 2 Chair in Jacksonville, where his leadership was recognized with both the Region of the Year and Regional Chair of the Year awards in 2022.

In his role with Maschmeyer, Matt brings his industry experience, leadership, and deep understanding of the ready-mix business to support continued growth, develop strong teams, and bring Maschmeyer’s commitment to excellence to new markets.
