Chief Operating Officer / Chief Culture Officer

John grew up in Nashville, TN where spent his teenage years working for his father, a general contractor, on various construction projects throughout the Southeastern United States. John attended Middle Tennessee State University where he earned a B.S. in Concrete Industry Management. While attending MTSU, John worked for both Cemex and PSI Inc., in quality control roles, gaining valuable industry experience.

In 2008 John began his career with Maschmeyer Concrete as a member of the Management Development Program. When Maschmeyer expanded into central Florida in 2009, John moved to Orlando to lead the customer service and logistics team. A few years later, John was promoted to the role of Operations Manager for central Florida. In 2018, he earned an MBA from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College and was soon promoted to Vice President / General Manager of Maschmeyer’s newly established Tampa Bay region. John oversaw all aspects of Maschmeyer’s growth in greater Tampa Bay area over the next four years before moving back to West Palm Beach to accept the role of Chief Culture Officer. At the end of 2025 John accepted another promotion, becoming Maschmeyer’s Chief Operating Officer as well.

In addition to his work at Maschmeyer, John has also served on the Board of Directors for the Masonry Association of Florida, the NRMCA’s Workforce Development and SEO committees, among others
